Nonsense, it talks about how whisky should be drank at room temperature and not chilled to talk down the stones but then goes on to recommend buying an ice cube mould that will take your whisky even further away from room temp. It's clearly just written to make you want to buy their product instead, or make them a few dollars through an affiliate link.

I prefer just sticking the bottle in the freezer.

Drink how you want to of course, Voted Hot, the daughter somehow manages to use all my sphere and skull ice cubes so these will be useful for her, though she'll probably still use my ice ones first.

These are nonsense. I used to believe that Single Malt should be drunk unadulterated, hence the idea of these. I was then 'Re-educated' by a Scot in a bothy in the Highland who corrected me, and explained that you should add a dash of springwater to 'open up' the Malt...how right he was, and I have never 'looked back'...ask yourself "Why do they sell Cask strength malt", and it is for just this reason.

I think some people are missing the point that these or similar don't have to be used just for Whisky!

I find them very useful for any drink I wish to remain chilled for longer without diluting it, though personally use stainless steel ones as they do a better job
