    Going to hazard a guess that the returns are because people haven't checked the temperature limits before buying... It's about 100c colder than required for "proper" pizza.

    It's still a decent deal though for a nice bit of kit! (edited)

    Unfortunately you're correct. Nearly all smoked stuff like bacon is made without smoke using some kind of chemicals...

    Mines just arrived today. An absolute disgrace the condition it has been sent in. Bashed all over and completely unsafe. The plug is cracked straight down the middle and no chance it can be used. I had read previously how bad some of the units are that ninja send out reconditioned but seeing it first hand... An absolute disgrace.

    No idea but combining the words outdoor and electric to cooking 'al fresco' put me off completely.
    Would prefer to eat from a tire fire than deny my primal instincts ; )

    Despite what the box says, the reviews on youtube that i've seen suggest this can get the stone up to 430 degrees and cooks a pizza perfectly.

    I’m really upset with Ninja Refurbs recently. Mine came damaged too. Generic box with no proper padding.
    Button and sides smashed.

    They sent another one as replacement and this came with the proper box, proper padding and had the woodchips.

    Very iffy if your first order will be ok
