Can't knock a solar watch for that kind of money Just be aware that these have their own rechargeable batteries that eventually do need changing, but can take 10 - 15 years to do so according to frequency of use. (edited)

Even if you threw out the whole watch when the battery dies 80p per year of use seems pretty cheap!

Looks like a decent watch, solid reviews at Argos for £25, this watch is basically 13 quid. Would make a nice gift for someone who doesn't use a watch comment say that it looks better than the photos.
