  • Comes with a single lock block manufactured from particle board and located on one side of the door which is highlighted by inkjet printing on the top edge

    Looks good. Does the door create a seal when shut or is there always a gap around the edge?

    What kind of material is "moulded" meant to be?

    They are hollow core doors with a solid frame and wooden skin that have an artificial wood grain or embossed effect, commonly used in new build installations. Once painted they look just as good as a solid door, they just aren't as good at keeping out sound (or fire), hence better used for things like cupboards. (edited)

    I have these, they look good and we get compliments but personally I would spend a bit more on better quality, more solid doors. These ones are made of thin wood and cardboard mixed. They let nearly all sound through.

    I needed to add three coats of white Dulux gloss to get a good finish which took ages on 8 doors!

    Howdens do the same style door which can be had even cheaper if you know a tradesman with a good discount there. I got 4 at £28.80 each. (edited)
