Totally different device, but going for £17.

RRP of £120, so wow .. what a saving!

As a matter of interest, this seems to print fixed width stickers rather than a continuous sticky roll. So, kinda cool but a bit more limited. (I almost bought one till I saw that...). It's also £15.30 with 10% voucher for the ticking.

Does it use the same tapes that the main Brother printers use? This is a good deal for when I don't want to take my entire label printer kit to work for the times at the end of jobs when it's just a couple of labels.

Edit: Looks like the answer is yes. (edited)

Any chance the labels from this would be dishwasher/washing machine proof? (edited)

    I wouldn’t say so.

I recommend the nimbot d110. It's in Amazon for 16 ATM. It can be had cheaper on AliExpress for cheaper sometimes.

Currently had a 10% code off

Is the same printer that the electricians use to print labels for labelling electrical outlet plates?
    teddybeers's avatar
    Pretty much.
Sparkies use the one with keyboard which is also much more robust and huge.

Camelizer says that Amazon usually has this about £48, so still £8 off, but ignore Amazon's advertised RRPs as always.

You can get much cheaper Chinese printers if you're only using it occasionally tbh.

Does this waste loads of tape like the standard brother models do?
    teddybeers's avatar
By the design of the tape, all of the printers using this type of tape will do have a offcut.

Luckily replacement tape, as good as original, it's only £2

Can anyone recommend something similar? I’ve seen NIIMBOT and Phomemo are popular brands around Amazon with history and decent reviews, although both seem similar models with different branding.

While this Brother one is a good deal, I HATE these cartridges and they are expensive and break easily

I want to be able to print the single line length labels but would also like the capability to print small multi line addresses if needed (edited)

My 2 hour experience with the Nimbot you can print single or multi line labels. I've added pictures and text. I've even printed a QR code for my guest WiFi
