    Can anyone recommend a smaller (8 or 9) powerful tab that isn't an Ipad, everything I see with smaller screens these days seems to be Samsung Tab A and similar that just start to lag far too quickly

    Nothing better for the price, great screen and good storage, 4gb ram is the bare minimum i think but for this price forget the cheapie CN ones!

    Well not quite. If you can tolerate FireOS and the process to get the Play Store, the £105 Fire Max tablets on Ebay are better. I don't mind the faffing about for something a fair bit more powerful, but the Honor is a good deal for those who want a fairly stock Android.

    For watching videos and using social media these tabs are passable but anything else I would avoid on this tab. USB 2.0 port too so slow charging which means this will take ages to charge. I don't get why they bother with cameras on screens this price range. They could have removed that and included a better charge port and fast CPU.
