Are they different to razors for women?
    bozo007's avatar
Yes. Women's ones are more expensive because they are pink.

Hows it a deal if its the same price as Tesco??

Because this isn't Tesco, its Amazon.

So I bought these and the blades are awful imo. Shaved with Mach 3 for over two decades and get a better shave. The problem with this WS head is that the blades are too close together so clog easily with hair and then can’t easily clear even when tapped and put under a running tap. This blocks new hairs from being cut after only a few strokes. It’s an awful design and I feel like binning it after the first use.

Same here. These are awful compared to Mach3.

Will these be interchangeable with Gillette handle
    JamesB83's avatar
No, why would it be? It comes with a handle anyway..

As per earlier posts, I tried this today and it’s a truly awful shave, to the extent it makes not want to use it again.

Terrible dragging and despite many more passes than I should have done, it was still missing hairs.

Have you tried a traditional double edged razor? Honestly, they're so much better shave wise (and cheaper and zero plastic).

Less than £20 will get you a razor and enough blades to last you a lifetime.

Voted hot, great price especially for those who don’t buy Gillette anymore.

    Gillette blades are a joke.

As a baldy I've recently found disposable razors that have a 'push bar' two blades with a plastic doo dah in the middle that pushes out the detritus that clogs it up. As someone that shaves their head every few days, they are great! I bought and tried loads and ended up really getting on with them. Shaving hour head really craps up razors, the 'push bar' is tremendous.

Less than a 5er for 20 from Jeff. The ones I have I got from savers and they're blue, but same thing as those pictured below.

Top tip for head shavers. (edited)

    Ordered great price

Seems a very decent price what with blades costing what they do nowadays. Heat.

These or the hydro 5's for £13.50?
    Aethan's avatar
Hydro 5 hands down. There is no better blade ever made. No competition.

These are a waste of money and plastic. Honestly Double Edge/Safety razors are way better in every way. Cheaper, quicker, greener and you get a closer and smoother shave. I really don't understand why you'd choose cartridge razors instead. Your face deserves better and it's cheaper too.

There are lots of different options, but this one currently listed for £13 will last a lifetime and the plastic free blades last weeks and cost 5-10p each. You can have a literal lifetime of high quality shaving for £20.

But would you would be signing up to having to use Gillette blades too?

Some interesting background on the original Gillette DE blade design and how basically once the patent ran out, they pivoted to a bait and switch consumable lock in model, which is now commonplace and the dominant business model, as it's much more profitable:-
