Yup. I would buy. The sanding alone is brilliant, but for cutting hard to access wood - example being enlarging a cut out at back of a cupboard without having to remove the cupboard or try to get a jig saw in there. You'll use it way more than you think.

Regarding your DeWalt batteries, would assume they are 18v? They will work fine. (edited)

Yep. All 4 are 18v. Two are a bit older without battery check button and two are newer but all four are working with both drill and impact driver.

I have the corded version of this and it’s fantastic. Needed to remove a toilet cistern and the nut as really badly corroded and rusted solid. I tried the metal cutting bits and the teeth just disappeared it was the bi metal blades that came with it I tried the metal saxton blades from Amazon they disintegrated too. And too my amazement I thought I have loads of these tile cutting blades left so I tried one and it went through the nut and bolt like hot knife through butter I couldn’t believe it. It is a fantastic tool though when used on wood I also cut a metal oil drum in half too using the tile cutting blade too.

I always wanted one but never been sure what I'd use it on. Could you detail some of those purposes please?

Worth buying? My Dremel is too small for some of the jobs and I already have DeWalt cordless combi drill and impact driver with 4 batteries in total (I assume this will take the same batteries).
