Only 10% but big saving for the bundle especially. Best I could find was still £765 at Harrods. Not sure if it stacks with 10% email sign up too.

I’m not voting hot or cold,
As it is nice discount off its RRP.

But what’s so good about this blender it cost close to a grand RRP?

I bought the e320 deal from Costco the other month, and must say the Vitamix is a great bit of kit if you are really into smoothies, cooking, run a kitchen, or even a professional chef.

From what I can tell from the reviews of other competitor products such as Ninja, they are good value for money, but the product build is not as well made as the likes of the Vitamix's or other premium blenders. The customer reviews indicate a lot of the cheaper alternative products end up breaking after a year or two. most of the common issues are either the motor dies, or plastic cracks/breaks off. Some reviews even complained that the cheaper manufacturer wouldn't replace under these defects warranty either.

I can't comment too much as I have only had the Vitamix for a couple of months now, but the Vitamix comes with a 7 year warranty, which is a lot longer than some of the others, also has a serviceable parts programme.

The one thing I am disappointed with at this stage, is that the Vitamix e320 is not compatible with the personal cup or blender bowls as this only works for the "premium" Ascent models. (There is an attachment, but seems to be only sold in the US market and not well designed).

The Ascent has some advanced features such as some additional safety features and even Bluetooth, thought I am not really sold on Bluetooth as a feature on such a basic kitchen item like a blender.

I've had the Ninja blender for over 3 years now. It was around £160 including the chopper and small blender for smoothies. I've used the Vitamix at a friend's shop a few times now. Granted the Ninja doesn't blend as well as the Vitamix but it does a pretty good job. Is say it gets to 90% which is plenty for most people given the price difference. Now on quality over the last 3 years I've had to buy one replacement main jug as its ends that engage the motor broke and one small blender blade attachment as the ball bearings have up since I kept putting it in the dishwasher. Cost me a total of £60 for both. Again given the difference in price is say its a much better deal to save your money and go cheapie. You won't see the level of benefit for the extra cash shelled out.
