The black 16 inch pedestal fan is made out of stainless steel and plastic. The combination ensures reliability, durability and a great look.

Perfect for all rooms in your house weather it comes to helping you fall asleep whilst creating a cool breeze in your bedroom or cooling down the lounge room during a super hot summer day. The fan looks super stylish with the black and silver design. Bringing a new twist on the classic design.

A 40W motor and three-bladed head allows the fan to provide the most effective cooling solution. The fan also features a three speed variable setting giving you the option to choose how fast the fan operates. The three speeds are: low, medium and high settings.

A pivoting head, adjustable height and oscillation allows for maximum freedom to choose and set the fan to suit your needs. Allowing you to choose the height, direction and speed of the fan is extremely important. For example when you are using the fan to help you cool down your bedroom before you fall asleep you might want to choose the lowest setting, maximum oscillation and positioning the fan head upwards.

The fan is designed with the safety of children in the household. With several different features such as a tight mesh grill placed in front of the spinning blades will ensure that kids won't get hurt by the spinning blades. The feet of the fan are also stabilised to ensure the fan does not fall over.

This fan also comes with free two year warranty, along with free returns and free next day shipping. Don't miss out and enjoy summer the right way.

I bought one of these, I agree with mailmikey. Very flimsy.

Although a lot more expensive, I have 6 of these fans from screwfix:

*SORRY CAN'T POST LINK AS SCREWFIX LINKS ARE 'BANNED'.*
Probably not giving enough kickbacks to the mods...

It's the £42. 99 Pedestal fan if anyone cares to look

I buy one or two a year, cos the family keeps stealing them for different rooms in the house. Obviously it's completely impractical to just move a fan from room to room as required. When I try to do so, I get shouted at.

It's easier just to buy another fan than argue. After all, it's only Dad's hard earned money that's buying them, not their's.

I'm all for a quiet life...

Anyway, the Screwfix fans are solid built, have a remote, and are well worth the money. Mine are between a few months, and about 5 yrs old. All are still working, and two of them seem to be running 24/7/365 for the last 3 or 4 years, even in winter. FML.

Buy once (or half a dozen times...), cry once.

    That made me chuckle.

I’d inform you rather  than pressing the like button.

I bought this last time it was posted. The fan itself is decent enough for the money but, as others have said, the stand is made of tinfoil. I intend to just make a new one out of spare parts when it fails but yeah, if I were to buy another pedestal fan I’d probably spend a little extra for a decent stand.

Avoid cheap fans with this type of feet, they are very flimsy and easily deforms.

Yes these are simply not worth it - I have the practical copy of this that Argos sold a few years back and it just wobbles all over the place and just makes the air really dry instead of actually cooling down a room.

I bought this last time it was on here and while the stand is a bit flimsy, I would say it's worth the price. Not too loud and decent air flow.

Avoid, if you have a wooden floor, the flimsy stand will rock slightly. Very annoying (edited)

    Agree with all the others.
Buy cheap buy many times over.
And it will end up in landfill.
Buy a decent fan like Meaco
    Will last a lifetime.
