I've been waiting forever for SP to get their 300 feedback so I can post these cheap but very reliable drives.
Fantastic value.
There are too many drives to post in one deal so I'll split them into a few.

3D NAND Technology for Enhanced Reliability and Power Efficiency

Applying the advanced 3D NAND flash, Ace A55 features higher reliability and better power efficiency than traditional SSDs equipped with 2D NAND flash. The A55 offers improved endurance and longer battery life that you're able to work longer without frequently recharge your laptop.

High Transfer Speeds for Fast Start Up

Powered by high quality controller and original synchronous NAND flash, the A55 delivers incredibly high transfer speeds that enable short boot time, fast application loading and quick file processing.

SLC Cache Technology for Performance Boost and Longer Lifespan

The A55 especially applies the ”SLC Cache technology” that allows all data to be written in the SLC portion first and leads to higher peak writing performance. In addition, the technology can reduce write amplification and thus offer better endurance and longer lifespan of the SSD

Absolutely Reliable with Bad Block Management

The A55 is built with Bad Block Management, which can continually monitor and replace bad blocks to keep your system in good condition with prolonged lifespan of a SSD.

Multiple Techniques Supported

The A55 is one of the lightest and thinnest SSD of its kind yet it is shock- and vibration-proof since it contains no moving parts. Furthermore, S.M.A.R.T. monitoring system and ECC technology are equipped to promise higher data transmission safety..

What are people's thoughts on this brand, are they reliable enough? Would be be a suitable upgrade for a PS 4 Pro?

Been using these for literally years, albeit from a few years back before the dawn of affordable flash storage and I have never had a single one back. Their speed belies their prices, or always did. I would have no hesitation in recommending them. There was an issue years back with some BIOS ROMS not recognizing them, but this was literally 6 or 7 years ago, I think, so I would assume they got to the bottom of this a long time ago. Silicon Power are a long established brand and seem to be as good as any. I would say 'Yes', go for it. As good as any and better than V Series Integrals and their siblings, MX Series Crucials, ADATA and the majority of the Chinese brands, save, maybe Netac, which are decent also. I don't know if I would trust them in a Server or NAS, but for a PS4, no issues at all. The 'Bonus' here, is the SLC Cache, which keeps the drive speedy when transferring larger files (games) to it, so it might save you a bit of time when that inevitable part comes your way! Hope this helps.

Yep, should work fine but an enclosure will cost you £15-20.

Recently bought the 256GB version for £11.99. Certainly made a huge difference in performance to my old HP BEATS DM4 which otherwise was going in the bin.
