Commented above about having the 960GB version.

Thought I'd do a stress tect to give you an idea of the thermals.

Only hit 56/58c max with sequential reads/writes, 54/55c for random r/w..
That's in a thin and light laptop (so no space around it) without a heatsink.
My room is probably around 18-20c I think (really need a new thermometer for my room, someone post a deal for one, lol).

    Pretty impressive really.

    EDIT:
May as well post the results of a speed test too -

That is the 960GB version but specs for the 1.92TB are the same.
Seq reads were faster than spec, seq write are lower (SLC cache probably filled, it was a 256GB test, not sure of the SLC cache size on this and the drive is half full).

I'll run a smaller file test in a while (need to let it claim the SLC cache back), will see if it's any better. (edited)

Which version of crystal disk mark are you using?

Good price for a TLC NAND drive.
DRAM-less (to be expected at this price).

I have the 960GB version in the laptop I'm using at the mo, no issues at all after 7 Months.
Windows and apps are all snappy enough.
