I got 4 Falken ZE310s fitted at Protyre over the weekend- they replaced a pair of Riken Road Performance and 2 tyres called Achilles something which came with the car.
The Falkens are much better - more comfortable and quieter. They drift slightly when turning before biting but they are sure footed.

Protyre were miles cheaper than anywhere else for the Falkens - I found out they were bought by Sumitomo (which makes Falkens ) a few years ago which I suspect is the reasons why.

Read some of the reviews below- these Falkens are extremely well reviewed.

I'm not surprised. Fitting anything would be an improvement from the tyres you were running

Falken are underrated. Had FK510’s on. 28k on the fronts and 56k on the rears. Very quiet. Put 310’s on the front which lasted are still going after 20k.

Very good tyres. My choice if cheaper than hankooks

I got 4x FK520 recently to replace worn Goodyear Efficient Grip Performance and they feel really smooth and quiet. I would buy Falken tyres again

Only thing is they wear out a lot quicker than the Goodyear.

I currently have their ziex ze 914 does anyone know the difference? Find it a bit overwhelming with all the different names and numbers.

I do rate them though, lasting twice as long as some Pirelli Powergys.

Falken’s innovative Advanced 4D Nano Design Technology ensures this range is produced from a compound that offers maximum mileage and the Falken ZE310 Ecorun’s new tread has increased wear life by 30 percent compared to its predecessor, the Falken Ziex ZE914.

We sell these at work and are a fab tyre. They have a warranty too so if you have any problems, take them back to your nearest dealer. If they are irreparable, you pay for only the rubber you have used plus a fitting charge to replace. Five ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I have these on the front, decent mid range tyres. Though they don't last too long about 16k on the front. I would pay a little extra to get the Goodyear EGP2 for £285 from Halfords.

    £164 difference?

Got 2 of these for my Dad's 10 year old Focus a few months back as they were similarly priced and I couldn't find anything from the top tier manufacturers cheaply. They replaced some Bridgestones and we find these are quieter and more grippy in the wet. Would definitely recommend. Service from Protyre was great too.

Half price wheel alignment as well if booked the same time, if you don't book it upfront they cannot apply the discount in store. Bought 2 of these 310 recently on a similar protyre deal, really good well balanced tyre.

How do you get half price wheel alignment?

Can never find a decent deal in 185 X 55 R16. These are on a Nissan Note 1.4. would have thought deals would be easy to find. Odd tyre size ?
    MOJOoo7's avatar
Uncommon tyre size rather. They make the most of this size tyres (thread) so it's one of the cheapest. My new car comes with 195/55/16, when that is done (one rotation) will buy this size to replace for 2 good reasons, 1: cheaper, 2: 205mm will be better.

*Gosh just had a look at your size prices, not good. Get rid of car when u can. My new car with 195 is also very bad for price, so it's a great thing it can be 205/55/16, will spend less. (edited)
