If you don't have an ssd in your pc then this could make it way faster, obviously you'd need to reinstall windows and that would fill the drive putting some off. Still can't believe some people still have their OS on a spinney disk especially when you can have one this cheap

Agree with speed boost. Not necessary to reinstall Windows, existing HDD contents with OS could be cloned to SSD using tools like Macrium. Quite easy task. Obviously installing fresh helps.

you can get sata to usb cables for £2-3 on aliexpress that would let you use this as an external drive
