"PCIE 4.0 Performance"... Not in any way, PCIE3 performance at best, but still a lot of storage for the money. Just be considered with what you put it in and how you use it.

Great, now we need 4tb of any speed (max speed pci3 at least) at around £130-£140

Using the 1 tb in my ps5 and it's been fine so far. No issues at least with the games I've tried.

And if there are games with issues I've got enough room on the internal drive now to move them there.

Does this work saving PS5 games to it or can you only save PS4 games?

Did you save up for it properly? Think about it? Do you need all that storage?....ask Santa?

Prices are going down, and will keep falling.... money is spent on gas bills etc..

Agreed, everyones buying them now because they see the size and sale prices, but in reality alot of them are the bottom tier garbage that isn't worth buying and is only going to get cheaper over the next few months, plus kingston M.2 SSDs from what I hear have a terrible failure rate, one friend had 2 that died within 1 year and wouldn't touch them again anyway, from the reviews i've been reading this isn't an isolated incident

Computer illiterate here. Is this compatible with a Lenovo ThinkPad T480? I suspect it is a M.2 Gen 3x4 that is required. Thank you.

Yeah gen 4 drives are backwards compatible. I'm not familiar with that laptop, does it support 2280 sized drives? If its going in the wwan slot then they're much smaller and will be 2242 size or something.

Edit - From a quick Google its also 3x2 in that slot so performance will be gimped

Good deal but holding out for a 2TB that meets the actual speed requirements.

Don't do it, the speeds aren't great and they have terrible reviews and failure rates due to their unusual hardware, save your money for summer when prices of the better actual Gen4 speed ones have dropped in price further.
