    It's better to buy higher speed if you are going for 4TB. It's likely that you will have higher speed hardware to use it later.

    This is easily good enough as general storage and for game storage. Direct Storage speed may suffer however Microsoft's Direct Storage is supported on literally one game so far. Here's a video discussing PCIe gen 4.0 and Direct Storage >

    Only negative is it being QLC, even so it's a great deal.
    Just don't buy it if you plan on using it for write intensive tasks (like video editing).

    Perfect for storage/apps/games.
    Considering buying one to throw into an enclusore to replace my film/TV series external HDD which I take with me on my travels. (edited)
