I bought an airline compatible bag a few years ago and then most of the airlines just made the size for free cabin bags smaller.

Yep, and they all vary size wise between the different airlines. It's so wrong.

I bought this very bag earlier in the year for 3 stag do’s I had coming up. Survived everyone without issue. Would recommend 🏽

Id also avoid using this lot , they really let me down by sending despatch emails when they hadn’t despatched. Promised express service to get it to me and then didn’t despatch it on express for another three days. Still fighting to get my money back from them another two weeks later after I cancelled

They've also got one in a holdall form factor for £13.99 which seems a better deal, if the materials and the quality are the same. Have ordered and I'll update in a couple of days if it's any cop.

I just use a regular backpack. Never been stopped

Yep it's just risky getting these when airlines change the sizes all the time.

Ordered this while back, received item as expected. Yet to use but will find out in September if all good.
