Awesome! A good deal to be had, it is also in-store but only stores that are standalone, all concessions within Sports Direct no longer have Pre-Owned stock. Also a side note you can only use reward card points at stand alone stores as well! Enjoy your games!

Can’t add a single thing to my basket, even games that say they’re in stock. Cold.

May be my age, but I do miss gaming. Hardly get time to game now.

I got Mario 3D world, Luigi's Mansion 3 and Smash Ultimate for £50. I'd call that a nice result. Cheers OP

Last of Us 2 at £8.99 and still in stock ain’t bad. Bought a copy just because I lent my launch copy to a friend and never got it back lmao. A couple other things picked up too, I’ll take a punt on Forspoken for four squids.

Tears of the Kingdom now £34.99 and some preowned games aren't discounted at all, looks fixed

Edit: actually if you specifically go to the preowned section which says 50% off it will show you games with reduced prices! Games on their normal page seem glitchy (edited)

    It's in-store too! They're not doing 3 for 2 anymore but all pre-owned is 50% off

My nearest game is in a sports direct

I'm not sure what Game even has going for it now. With no pre-owned games all they are is the most expensive price for brand new chart games, and a ton of gaming related tat that HMV is already drowning in.

    I totally agree

Just done very well in Redditch store. Had multiple copies of some games although only 1 box on the shelf, and don't think they immediately put them back out so might have some stuff worth asking for if you can't see it. Cheers OP!

Literally went into Game today, this offer wasn't even on ( Game Keighley )
    BabiDealings's avatar
Only Game standalone stores sell pre-owned games, none of the Sports Direct or House of Fraser ones sell them anymore.
  23. Tatwamasi's avatar
Physical media is over, I guess.
  24. Ian_Beniot's avatar
Shouldn't most of these games been bought on launch though I mean gaming is about supporting the devs right?💁‍♂️
Not waiting till they drop in the bargain bin.

This might be the wrong site for you if you are happy paying full retail price for your games. This site is about getting deals and saving money.

Zelda Tears of the Kingdom and Animal Crossing for £38.97 delivered, not too shabby!

Literally nothing at my local store since the staff took everything to cex last night 😔
    BabiDealings's avatar
What makes you think this lol? CeX give absolutely trash cash prices (in most cases less than the cost of the prices after 50% off), and the trade is not much better. I can understand them grabbing copies for family and friends, or for their own personal collections.

The Nintendo Switch first party games could maybe make a few quid selling on eBay or something similar, but nothing to go crazy over.

I bought a bunch of first party Switch Games early this morning, mostly multiplayer games we already have. We have multiple Switch consoles, so will be handy to have 2 of each game to play handheld. That and they will likely never lose the value of their used prices from this deal.

The people who cleaned out this deal buying multiples and clearing stock (No names mentioned Pi***), will make a few quid at best. Would earn more doing overtime at work.

Just been into Lincoln store - loads of stock, almost every game available. Games without cases were 80% off, got gran turismo 7 for £6
    theframe8's avatar
Wow, that's nuts. Did they have games without cases on display?

The loot goblins were out in force on this one

All the good ones are gone unfortunately. Not many options for Switch or PS5 now.

Managed to get Mario Strikers (9.99) and Mario RPG (14.99) on Switch

Got Hogwarts legacy for £9.99 on xbox.

Thanks, ordered Spider Man 2 for £19.99. Tried to get tears of the kingdom as well but all sold out.

    Some honourable mentions:

    Luigi’s mansion 3 £14.99

    Mario Bros U deluxe £17.49

    Captain Toads Treasure Tracker £11.49

    Animal Crossing £16.49 (edited)

Don't forget super smash bros ultimate for 20

Got Forsaken and Gran Turismo for PS5, trying to find another thing to justify God of War PS5.

Edit: Damnit God of War went out of stock again... (edited)
  37. sambrady's avatar
Managed to get Death Stranding, Armoured Core 6, and Atlas Fallen. The shipping takes off the deal a little but figured worth going off!
  38. RAGiN_CRiNZ's avatar
    Still game and still expensive
    GamerFirebird90's avatar
Yeah but that now means CeX has 0 competition... I was happy for Forsaken and Gran Turismo 7 for £25 instead of the CeX price of £42 for GT7 alone.
  39. kadooosh's avatar
    £4.99 delivery kills this deal
    GamerFirebird90's avatar
Look at CeX prices for the same games... They are a rip off even more so than what GAME was with preowned. That's what happens with 0 competition.

Always remember a Game fire sale back in the day, Wii U Lego City Undercover (as PS4 and Xbox versions had just launched) for 99p
