Aero 7 active Noise Cancelling Headphones with Aeroplane Kit and Travel Case. Use code SAVEAERO to reduce price of £34.99 to £24.99

I've had these for a few years. Not as good noise cancelling as bose but still work well on planes. Comparing to the bose on sound for the price they really are quite good

Why Expired?

My QC35II didn't include an Aeroplane Kit.
But I believe nowadays, you'll only need the Aeroplane Kit on Aeroflot Tupolevs...
Cheaper than my QC35II also.

I need a pair of headphones that isolate me and don't cost a fortune. Are these too good to be true? Reviews seem quite good.

Any good?

No It's a piece of junk. It has a poor APU, Low resolution and records as AVI. Decent dash cams will use a decent APU like the Novatek NT96650/55 or the Ambarella a7, will record in .MOV at true 1080p (30/60FPS) have a 6 layer lens - that has a 140/170d field of view - and have sensor with an aperture under 2.0.

As I've said many time before: If you are in a 'contested' accident worth 1000s of pounds don't you want the best footage to prove your innocence? Dash Cams like the one listed here is 'better than nothing' but blown up on a tv screen the footage will be blurry, laggy and the low field of view might mean you don't record the accident at all.

Personally If you can't afford £40/£50 for a decent Dash Cam I would rather use an old mobile phone (like a Samsung Galaxy S2) with a dash cam app and a cheap fisheye lens to convert the lens to wide angle.
Edited by: "StonedSte" 21st Oct

Processor is an upgraded novatek 96220

Real resolution 720p, so if you buy this it would be better to use it set at 720p

1080p will be by interpolation.

Pay a few quid extra for a G1W which has the better novatek 96650 and a better image sensor, with better low light performance, real 1080p and records using h.264.

I wonder if the AmazonBasics LSD (low self-discharge) rechargeables are rebadged Eneloops?

They appear to be made either in Japan or China, which suggests Panasonic/Eneloop, if indeed that's who manufactures them.

Also, White Ikea LADDA (LSD) Batteries are also rumoured to be rebadges as well - some speculate they are actually FDK/Fujitsu.
32216425-u3SuJ.jpgAAA £2.40 4/pack (Brown) 500mAh ikea.com/gb/…83/

AA £2.90 4/pack (Brown) 900mAh ikea.com/gb/…74/

The Brown above are apparently made in China.

AAA £4 4/pack (White) 900mAh ikea.com/gb/…80/

AA £5.50 4/pack (White) 2450mAh ikea.com/gb/…76/

White are being compared to Panasonic/Japanese Eneloop Pro in this Youtube video (at 6:20). The White LADDA batteries are made in Japan.

White LADDA batteries are discussed here too: budgetlightforum.com/com…897
LADDA (White sleeve) AA 2450mAh tested: budgetlightforum.com/nod…233 Apparently the discharge curves look identical to the Fujitsu (FDK) cells as well, so it's rather confusing.

In any case, the LADDA White could be a great, cheaper alternative.

Edit: The Youtuber in the above clip (AirbourneSurfer) actually replied to me:

"FDK manufactures all Eneloop-spec batteries under license from Panasonic--including branded Eneloop cells. The factories in Japan are still tooled for the "Eneloop Pro" spec so any NiMH cells made in Japan are made at one factory, owned by FDK, and licensed to various brands."

Man, I'm probably more puzzled than I was before I started compiling this Deal post !!

On other forums it's implied that Panasonic (Eneloop) and FDK are completely separate from one another. Perhaps it is true that Japanese Eneloop (Panasonic) and FDK Fujitsu batteries are made in the same factory. Not a lot of love out there for Chinese Eneloop (Panasonic), though.

Here's a test/data sheet on "Fujiloops" (AA variety HR-3UTC) as mentioned on here budgetlightforum.com/nod…e=4

lygte-info.dk/rev…tml

The 1000mAh batteries in my Deal post are "HR-4UAEX", trying to find more details about this specific variety.

Even FDK themselves only advertise "Standard Capacity - White" (2100 cycles) and High Capacity - Black" (500 cycles) translate.google.co.uk/tra…rch

7dayshop also sell these Fujitsu AAA rechargeables in 4 or 8 packs:

Fujitsu AAA HR03 Ready to Use NiMH Rechargeable Batteries 900mAh - Extra Value 8 Pack (HR-4UTHCEX) £10.59:

This post candlepowerforums.com/vb/…l=1 is from July 2017, and it's a comment from ChibiM who collates the eneloop101.com/ site.
"The eneloop trademark is not in hands of a Chinese company, but a Japanese company called Panasonic. Since 2014 Panasonic has a Chinese factory that makes eneloops, but for the Asian, Oceanian, South American market. If you are in the US you get your Eneloops still from the Japanese factory, the same as which they originally came from. So they now are produced in 2 countries.

The factory is owned by Fujitsu, so your batteries are the same as eneloops and therefore good. If you want to read more about eneloops, I would suggest taking a look at my website, and specifically this: eneloop101.com/bat…up/ "

Can't see anyone specifically commenting on these HR-4UAEX 1000mAh "500 cycles" Fujitsus (which is a bit of a "d'oh!" on my part, as I assumed the equivalent Panasonic Eneloop 1000mAh/AAA would have the same number of cycles!).

"What is the difference between FDK's NiMH battery (HR-4UTA(4B)) and eneloop?" (translated from Japanese, August 2012) translate.google.co.uk/tra…xt=

Yeah brilly makes a good point.
And AAA actually is common for good quality torch use.

I have a thrunite that uses a 18650 lithium ion cell - but also a thrunite keychain torch - which uses a AAA

Eneloops are ideal for that. Far less likely to leak than Alkaline batteries, and better for the environment.

Lithum ion cells can't be used in it due to the voltage.

Olight also make a popular AAA keychain light.

So at the high end, AAA is actually commonly used (for keychain torches), surprisingly.
