A great price for this. Cheapest I've ever seen it. 2.62% TCB aswell.
twonkydonkey

Yea the code I had did not work... I use the Glarysoft which works well. It was the casing that broke on the extreme so defo not using that again. Thanks for the Info and interest tho

Vilbun_Dsouza

Yup they also give away the rescue pro codes if your software somehow resets like mine did a few years back. But since then have accumulated hundreds of codes (lol) (lol)

Vilbun_Dsouza

Fair enough. But I've only ever used SanDisk and not had a problem. Always a chance of defective units :)

stanno

Having just had a SabDisk SD card replaced under warranty I can confirm the process is quick and easy.

twonkydonkey

Never trust them again.

I've had troubles with ssd for os in the past where some programs still save on it rather than my HDD and getting disk full

mugen6

RAID 0 fun?

tubbyasstoo

totally agree I run a number of machines each booting from a 120GB SSD (I7-3770), and they are fine All my personal files are on a fileserver, that also boots from a 120GB SSD, but has 8TB USB3.0 external drives for storage Works really well, including supporting my plex library

Ben_W

On my 120gb SSD I have windows, office, Chrome, Steam(just the launcher), and pretty much all my non gaming software really. Not sure why people don't think it's not big enough. It easily fits everything (non media/games) that most people need.

Strange that, never heard of that before, probably just easier to check online via Phillips website chances are though it’ll work.

alilogan83

Hi, yes it has a USB port, I’ve read online that not all USB sticks are compatable.. it never said which sticks were compatable though :/

geek0

Not a big discount but the price is good :)

PennyTrader

Not sure what you mean except to say if your TV has a USB port then yes it’s highly likely to work for playback of videos, photos etc.

alilogan83

Any idea if this will work on a Phillips TV?

ANY rechargeable batteries made in Japan come out of the same factory as these batteries. There’s only one rechargeable battery factory in Japan, there’s loads of tests and verification of the Ikea (Japanese ones only) and others that come out of this factory. The Japanese cannot be recharged as often (500 or so times) but can be reconditioned if buy the pro Panasonic charger or equivalent.

kittendoggie

The million dollar question here is: are these genuine? Bulk packed Duracells can be dodgy.

dubmarine

Duracell are terrible batteries.

TiptreeJam

I probably comment too much on battery deals. At the end of the day it boils down to how much mAh capacity you get for your £1. Duracell are a well known brand and this is a good deal. However there are lesser known brands that have been proved to be better value e.g. the Poundland ones (4 for a £1 so £10 for 40). I do try and use rechargeable although they are not always suitable for every device.

bryngreen

Good deal for the product, but for longevity and environment, rechargeable are the way to go

I have this flash drive and it's fine as a little attache to your desktop or laptop (i.e. storing your favourite songs, MVs, or frequently accessed documents and files) but it struggles with anything beyond that (e.g. bulky file archiving, frequent writing or moving data around between machines) because as expected with USB 2.0 at this capacity, the write speeds are 4 MB/s at best.

Yes, Eneloops give up to 10 times longer lasting power* (*versus ordinary alkaline batteries in high powered toys and cameras)

Euclid

Yes the re-chargables do appear to have a longer / even / more sustained output than the standard alkaline batteries. Kudos for highlighting that info. Appreciated! (highfive)

LadyEleanor

It is there, Varta beating Duracell. But still only one third the capacity of Eneloops for high power.

Euclid

Excellent. Thank you for your contribution. That will be very useful to others. It shows the Duracell AA Ultra Power are generally better than the Varta High Energy for AA size. Presumably the same would be true of the Duracell AAA vs Varta High Energy AAA. (highfive)

LadyEleanor

Was looking at Lygtes website and it appears Ultras Rechargeable cope admirably at high power. As do Eneloops. Compare! At high ampage rechargeables have 300% the capacity. Note that Duracell do or at least once did buy Eneloops. https://lygte-info.dk/review/batteries2012/CommonAAcomparator.php

Fair enough, I hear. :-) Note to self: Not everything is about Dash Cam's, Drone's, and/or IP Cam's (and their 'variants'), etc etc etc?. Some people are 'basic' enough (like myself), to want it for the thing's that they were traditionally 'designed' for in the first place, like: Eg. Video Camera's, Digital camera's, Tablet's, Phone's, Android Boxes, Netbook 'type' of Laptop's, (and dare I also say) DSLR's too, and such like? (Digital Photo Frame's, Sat Nab's, and ... ) To which my above memory card work's perfectly for. :-) Anything other that that, is exactly that ('other' ... ) I do have a useful link for any/all that are rather interested in the 'other' though: https://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/sandisk-extreme-microsdhc-100mbs-a1-c10-v30-uhs-i-u3-32gb-for-979-at-picstop-3135287 It may just be worth perusing through the link's within that above link?. :-)
