If you are on budget and really want RGB you will be better of buying Thermalright TL-C12CW-S these are like £12 for three pack which comes £4 each and you've got PWM control and ARGB control also. From noise side of view none of them will be super quiet but Thermright gives you option to set RPMs and reduce noise if that is afactor for you.

Ive built in an aerocool case before.
It wasnt great and the fans were poor.

Still RGB fan for £4 is cheap...

Not tried this specific model, but Aerocool fans are generally quite loud. This one runs at only 1000rpm, so it may not be loud but also will not provide a huge amount of airflow. I definitely wouldn't use it directly on a cooler.
If you must have RGB case fans, there's nothing at this price point that is any better, but if you dont need then stick to Arctic for good value fans.

I've always found aerocool to be very reasonable for the price you pay. Certainly not premium, but then again something like a Corsair will set you back £10-20 for a single fan, depending on model.

More like 10-45£! Check the icue link fans!

I have the single fan version of the eSports cooler and so I might bang this on it for a cheap two fan upgrade.

Terrible fans. Had an aerocool case and these are extremely cheap fans. I mean they do the job, but I'd honestly spend a bit more for the thermalright fans.

I've had 3 of the 140mm version of these fans in a PC for nearly 4 years now, and another 3 in a different PC that's been running for just over 2 years, without any probs whatsoever. They're quiet IMO but I admit it's subjective innit. I can say though that I've not had a single failure on them, unlike the Corsair ones I was using previously. Had 2 of those start rattling in the same timescale. And the Corsair ones were more expensive too...

I actually bought some spares for these at the same time I fitted them, cos I expected some to fail after a couple of years and wanted to make sure I could get the same ones again, but I've never even needed them at all. (edited)
