You don’t get it anywhere near the price in the screen shot above even with the discount code!

You would be better of buying a Lenovo at that price point.
Dell is ok if their hardware pricing matched the poor quality.

Where are you getting a 17" qhd Lenovo with 3070 from for £1200? (edited)

Good price for a good quality laptop. I just hate how Dell gimped this laptop a bit and made it uglier to make there X models look better. (edited)

This is a very good deal at this price. Sure the laptop has some flaws, but for this money, I can't think of anything this good for portable gaming. The average gamer would be better off getting this and some nice peripherals (mouse, headset, mousepad etc.) and games that go higher than this as the ROI after this type of money isn't worth it.
It's not as nice as the x models, but the thicker chassis helps with cooling and in person it's still very nice to use. It's not got the highest TDP GPU but on this screen it's probably not that noticable.

How's the eGPU performance - does it support Thunderbolt 4?

    Wattage on the 3070? (edited)

I've looked around and this is the deal to get. A 15" gaming laptop of any brand with similar specs seems to be at least £1500 everywhere I looked.

I temporarily had the m15 r7 with the ryzen 9 6900hx and 3070 Ti, and whilst it was decent performance wise, the battery life was terrible. At most 2 hours, can’t even imagine how bad it would be with an Intel chip. Assuming you’re after this as an all purpose do it all laptop, as I was.

Update on my order. Laptop arrived after 10 days. It was a brick. Totally unresponsive. An hour with support best I got was "wait for us to authorise a repalcement".
