why do they put MicroSD card readers on these instead of SD
    Smoggy1970's avatar
Because you are more likely to take a micro SD card out of your phone to transfer stuff?
    Maybe, maybe not.

    Thats a hot find!
I didn't see msi at this price like ever.
I wouldn't buy as Intel manufacturing process is ancient (I think it's still 10nm compared to AMD 5/4nm) but it's hot for sure.

    That's not how it works.

Intel's 10nm process was renamed because the naming doesn't make sense. It is much smaller than 10nm if you compare to to TSMC etc.

    Not a single review, still.

Only found this but doesn't say much like battery longevity is missing. Link

    Battery capacity?

Can't see it mentioned on any sites.

    Do msi make good laptops?

Edit: no. Plus repairs take very long time and they have heating and motherboard issues which are common.

Priced low for a reason and woth almost no reviews.

The Ryzen is just slightly better in my opinion. Depends what it's being used for.

ram may not be upgradeble on this like other msi modern models. no slots and soldered on.

    kingstonmemoryshop.co.uk/lap…top

sorry had to vote cold on any laptop that does that. As planned obsolescence needs to be boycotted.

Maybe if laptop was sub £200 might have been worth it. Ram often fails in pcs with errors occurring in sticks. Not worth it 3 years down the line. (edited)
