got it today, looks really high quality. The usb-a and C ports don't charge (as stated on the sticker). But I connected my ZV-1 in the USB-A port and it's charging while streaming via USB. Also the Rode mini mic connected via USB-C was powered fine. this is without the charged plugged in the PD port , just the mac book air running on battery.
So it works absolutely fine for what i needed it for. the other ports and card slots are a plus. thanks OP (edited)

Whats the use case for having both external monitors showing the same screen?

Well the obvious ones is for demos/presentations where something is being displayed on a larger screen that isn't visible to the person who can see the primary screen.

    Nice find.

Has an Ethernet port so you can connect your phone to a router to share mobile broadband and charge the phone at the same time. A simple USB C to ethernet adaptor without PD costs £10 - £15 on its own so this is a good deal IMO. The extra USB C ports and SD card slots are a bonus

Some people may cry about that fact it's only 4K @ 30 Hz but you need to pay about £30 at least for 4K @ 60 Hz (edited)

Do you have a link? I have a cheap one that does 1080@120hz with my steam deck or 4k/30.

1080@120 is probably perfectly fine, but it would be nice to have 1440/120? The UI seems a bit blurry.

I don't need another but I am tempted - especially as it has ethernet and a USB-C port.

I don't know if 85W is enough to charge my laptop though.

It should be unless you are doing heavy stuff. even though my laptop is rated for 120W it only sips around 30-45W during normal use.

This is a more trusted brand, otherwise very similar.

Would this work to get 2 external screens attached to surface laptop? Using one port from this and another from the laptop itself?
