About this deal

Now that Ring are changing £50 a year for storage I took a look at that thread about doorbells. Blink, ezviz, eufy etc all appear to have their own shortfalls. This looks the best bet of the alternatives. 1000s of 5 star reviews.

Here is a video review comparing with the Ring from lifehackster

People are flocking away from Ring. They have really shot themselves in the foot with their greed on subscriptions.

One reviewer said: doorbells do NOT record the first 4 to 10 seconds of activity
    I also experiencing this problem.
So far I'm suspecting because the microSD card that comes with it is the culprit.
Going to buy the latest specs microSD to see if it improves!

I have the 5MP Ultra, far better in every way. This uses RAM not an SD card so is way faster. Also 5GHz WiFi so no interference from neighbours. Plus radar for accurate activity zones.

I'm returning this as I can't hear people when they talk unless they are right up close

Get the Ultra, worth the extra for higher resolution, radar and 5GHz WiFi.

The design of these units looks a little familiar?
