    I've always out of habit used the Aldi dishwasher tablets, which work out about 9p each. Recently I've been making some cutbacks.I noticed they have a cheaper alternative 'Classic dishwasher tablets', which cost 5p. I'm wondering if there's any real difference between the cheap and expensive tablets?

    I think 'classic' dishwasher tablet is not an 'all in one' tablet (which has salt and rinse aid included)

    Same price at Chester Greyhound. Marked as £1.34 IIRC, but scan at 40p.

    Got 4 packs and OH emptied them all into a single plastic box that washing machine tabs came in. Don't have a dishwasher, but I'm told they are useful for other cleaning uses.
