Yeah that is truly abysmal pricing. There's a few options which give this performance now at £80-£85 and 2TB! from Netac and Corsair for example.

Oof, that's a lot of money for 1TB these days, even if it is the 990 Pro with HS.
Likely due to most of the big NAND manufacturers scaling back production.
No more price drops on the big-brand drives, but plenty of deals for smaller/Chinese brands around.

For £88 you can get the Corsair MP600 Pro right now and stick a cheap HS on it.
Real world performance is equal to this and you have double the capacity for not a lot more money. (edited)

It's a terrible price. People will see Samsung and auto buy though and then mug themselves, but that is their choice sadly for them.

HUKD must have a lot of Samsung fan boys..

Half their stuff is rubbish and over priced with gimmicks trademarked as tech terms but a lot of people still pay over the odds for their tat!

Stay away from this rubbish company.
Constant problems with firmware in their SSDs.

Tried 980 Pro and had constant problems with speed.
Googled this one and this one also suffered from firmware issues lol.

    Just get WD.

Have two 2TB 990 Pro's both updated and run with no problems

Properly insane pricing. Massively overpriced for this performance at this storage size. £10 more gets you 2TB with this performance.

Yet it still got almost 200 degrees...
People just love the brand (even if firmware issues not long ago did wreck thousands of Samsung drives). (edited)
