    8k screen on a laptop is just excessive, pointless imo. 4k is already too many pixels in most use cases.

    The 12500h will perform the 11900h for example as it's last year's model. It's a bit of an odd one, not sure how hot it would get with the processor and GPU, there are cheaper gaming laptops with the same or better specs. Possibly ok as a niche laptop if you're doing graphics edits or video or similar.

    It seems to have been on sale at that price several months ago too so maybe not too good to be true. Read the reviews on the screen colours. Some seem to be unhappy with colour banding, colour on battery power etc.

    Similar to the Acer Swift X. I think I'd choose the Swift X for productivity because of the battery life, and this one more for gaming.

    What specs and price is the Swift X? This has dedicated graphics so it's good for creative people who want to edit or do some CAD work on the go.

    It has soldered 16 GB RAM so cannot be upgraded to 32 GB if needed. Saying that 16 GB should be good for most people.
