AutoAid Breakdown offers a breakdown insurance policy that is personal based. This means it’s you that we cover, not the car. With AutoAid Breakdown, you’ll be covered in any eligible vehicle you’re driving at the time of the breakdown. And as we cover any legally recognised spouse* FREE of charge, our policy is perfect for couples with access to more than one vehicle. In addition to Roadside Assistance, AutoAid Breakdown also provides cover for Caravans and Small Trailers attached to the vehicle, cover for Theft and Vandalism, and cover for Home Breakdowns...

If the vehicle at the time of breakdown is 10 years old or over, the first £25 of the call out cost will need to

be paid by you direct to the service provider at the time of call out.

I found an older post below. I suspected they are too cheap - excesses galore.

    BE CAREFUL
Unless you choose a specific policy, they will charge you an excess for calling them out, or you can choose to pay extra onto your premium.
They quote FROM £20.99 for national and home, but for a 2004 car it becomes £54.99, or £62.20 if you don't want to pay an excess. That is a £40 charge for EVERY call out.
Realistically, this is not much better than the well known brands (edited)

Was with these for years then they decided to raise it £20 on renewal so I cancelled then had a email saying they can do it same price as last year.
Looked around and found another with better cover fir less.
