I have this toaster and I’m happy with it. Looks good, wide slots, toasts evenly. Little bit rattly on occasion but we have had for two years and it’s still going strong.

By way of trivia, It’s also the toaster they use on Love Island - I will let you make your own mind up about whether that is a negative or positive (we found out after the fact FYI but given the IQ levels on that show, perhaps it speaks to how easy this is to operate). (edited)

We go through toasters quicker than toast !
They all seem to made from tinfoil these days... Either the lifter mangles itself, or the lift spring doesn't
Anyone know of a quality one please ?

I went for a Bosch one from Argos c.£35 in the end. The reviews seemed good but I haven't used it yet! I think the colours are only white, black and cream in the model I chose.

I had the same problem in that every toaster review seemed very mixed and I couldn't find a style I particularly liked. I almost went for this Beko one (I like duck egg blue and the retro look) however the reviews put me off.

The silver metal (stainless?) finishes don't seem to wear very well in my kitchen regardless of how often I clean them so I thought I'd go for a different style this time.

ETA White and black are currently OOS but you can register for stock alerts. I don't think the model is that old so they should be restocking. Seems popular. I used the £5 off £40 marketing voucher (google) and added something else to my basket to take me over £40. (edited)

    £8.96 cheaper than Amazon (prime).

Reviews there, generally say looks nice. But, very slow (multiple attempts to toast stuff) and quality issues (uneven toasting, internal tray breaking).

Other reviews dotted in saying perfect...

A plus seems to be the slots are big enough for a decent sized bit of bread.

Gist of it seems to be: it's a cheap toaster, that looks nice (low quality).

Also, the 'white' one is actually cream.
