    I've got one of these from years ago, with the cost of replacement blades and the cheap availability of recip saws (and blades) these days I personally think the time of the scorpion has come and gone. It's a good price just not convinced it's good value for money today.

    I bought one of these years ago to cut around joists when installing loft boards & it has been going strong since. Really useful for ad hoc jobs such as cutting decking boards etc.

    I had a first version of these. The blade holder head snapped in the end and I replaced it with a reciprocating saw. It's a great tool but the blade costs and limitations on uses make it hard to justify buying over alternatives. It might be a good choice for kids or those unable to cope with a hand saw.

    I still have one of the very first versions of this. though it cuts well
    the vibration on the hand is only tolerable for a short time.
    I hope they have improved it since then.

    Agree - the vibration when using is just brutal . Use mine very infrequently for that reason
