Been on the look out recently for a portable air conditioner coming up to the summer after suffering in various heat waves last couple of years. Anticipate prices might go up once summer hits and was mainly after at least 10000 btu but think this's a good compromise given the price.

Amazon prices fluctuate so don't know how long it'll stay like this, last time there was a drop it only lasted a day I think.

    These are great BUT do not consider as a dehumidifier unless you have the ability to have the constant drain hose exit somewhere as they have no water tank, you can drain into a separate container but that means raising the device to a level above that container and there is no cut off if it is full. (edited)
