Tesco are selling double flocked airbeds for £7.50 for anyone interested.
I mean too late about the vouchers :D
Still some 6s available https://webuy.com/product.php?sku=SWEAGAR6SPROBBB
Im afraid it's too late :) But thanks anyway!
Best thing about the 6s is it had the same display size as the 5 and 5 plus but is smaller overall. Before you bite the bullet check on ebay for people selling cex vouchers and save even more money potentially...
That's very helpful. I'm gonna give it a go.
Oops. My bad.
The 9-speed sticker that Shimano put on the front derailleur doesn't mean it has 9 front cogs, it means it's compatible with the 9-speed rear (designed for 9-speed chain). https://www.sheldonbrown.com/front-derailers.html#speeds https://www.parktool.com/blog/repair-help/chain-compatibility#article-section-3
There aren't enough green bikes out there.
Image shows NO LOCKOUT so just wonderted.
There are so many Suntour XCM forks though. https://www.srsuntour.com/products/fork/XCM-5868.html There are 3 travel lengths, 80, 100 and 120mm plus 4 options for the right side including N/A i.e. no lockout at all so that is 12 variations of the fork and that is just the 27.5" versions, you have 26" and 29" plus ebike rated versions too and other wheel sizes 24" possibly. Often they update the models yearly and some retailers have both old and new stock that can span 3 years on their bikes and as separate forks. Also Suntour XCM's can have either mechanical or hydraulic lockout plus remote hydraulic lockout I think.
Oh, you mean a £100 bag is better than a £22 one? Amazing insight, and thanks for the helpful link...
get one of those farpoint rucksacks, this is just cheap tat ->landfill
, Easy to say when they're true and you're very welcome, best site on the net for bargains imo, saved me a lot of money and always friendly advice and help
Thank you @garnerw we really appreciate comments like that
Thank you appreciated, I love the community on here it's great, always come on here to check for things and recommend it to all my friends I think it's superb
They might be ok, but why so horrendously ugly?
Sorry to hear that, I’ve never had issues and received my order today.
Fed up of blacks cancelling my orders. Won't buy from them again.
Out of stock
Yeah I get all that mate (lol)
Excellent price, just watched a pair of jawbones sell for more than that second hand on flea bay.
For some reason I can’t share the link (new phone issues) but If you search the fleece name and model it’ll be the third or fourth option on millets outlet. Sorry for the delay guys.
Can you please post a link?
This is a micro fleece. Can anyone suggest a Berghaus thick fleece in a plain design?
Well that’s annoying ;-) good spot. Doh.
eh, these guys? https://shop.bsigroup.com/ProductDetail/?pid=000000000030360206
For my Missus all the ratings will be optimistic! Has to have a - 10 nah just for summer camping. Who makes the temps up?
Sounds fine for 2.5 season: https://splodzblogz.co.uk/2018/11/05/review-oex-fathom/
Yes, it is a big thing even packed. So you are probably correct. But for less than £40 delivered i think it's a decent bag :)
Would trust the Marmot ratings far more though. The key thing to notice is that, while the Marmot isn't much more expensive than the RRP for the OP, the Marmot is 300g heavier, which makes the ratings way more believable.
Would be a much nicer and faster bike without the front suspension. Unfortunately that is the current trend at present.
Out of stock
Really appreciate this info and does bring the whole 'deal' idea into context. Yes, the bike may be £400 somewhere else but at £300 it seems you may still be paying substantially over the odds. (y)
Currently £400 @ go-outdoors
(lol) I was so looking forward to us going for a ride tho (lol)
I’m 5 ft 3 and I ride xs Giant bike
Anything above 5ft wouldn't fit on this bike (lol)
(lol) No need to be short with him.
5ft to 5ft5 . Seat and bars can be adjusted higher . But I wouldn't recommend it to anyone over 5ft5
Sneezy, Bashful, Sleepy, Happy, Grumpy, Doc and Dopey would all be ok on this
Thanks, gonna buy this! (y)
Agreed, I wouldn't use this for actually hiking. But at this price perfect for an alternative to a holdall! (y)
(y) for the username!
Great to keep in case there's a future pandemic with a high mortality rate. Take a tent into the woods and go solo
Maybe it's too early for me ;) thanks
Can this be re-activated and edited as it is £15 delivered with the code freedel. Might help someone
Both vouchers work. £4.95 deliv (cheeky)
Typical, missed the 15% code and my mrs has a blue light card! I'll add it to the description, hope it helps someone else! (y)
Hey! Just ordered, but as a heads up the below code offers a 15% discount! NEWSU Hope this helps. Also NHS can get 20% off with blue light card. I know it's not a lot but always worthwhile. Thanks
There not allowing Unidays 20% discount code unfortunately.
Same, it got delivered so quickly but I had to do the trust pilot review because with the advisors I was just going round in circles. As soon as a manager got involved a refund was issued very quickly.
Yeh I've seen lol Fair play to them, mine came really quick and I got the refund, so can't complain (y)
They are getting hammered on trust pilot and not just for this bbq
They're back in stock, still with the wrong description.....
Actually the Argos bike is out of stock
What do you mean?
argos bike seems the betetr value of the two.
A fool and their money...
That's actually a nice looking bike. I wanted a folding bike as I don't have space in my flat so needs to fit in the car boot. Might give this a go
Steel frame whereas carreras are alloy. I'd go with a carrera.
Yup They're around 269ish but not sure about their quality. How do they compare to carreras?
They sell them on Amazon UK but they are not this cheap. But if you find a cheap one please pop the link on here. Cheers
Where from? May I ask
Speaking of which, someone might find one of these in their local GoOutdoors despite being OOS online.
Lots of Calibre bikes going OOS. The designer has moved to another company. On Go Outdoors the bikes listed for sale are very few and far between. Either everyone has bought a bike for lockdown or they are getting out of the game!
Evans probably do the best "ready to ride delivery". They use a large new box rather than trying to fit in back in the one it came from the factory in. Last bike I had from them just needed the bars turning straight and the pedals fitting. They also included clear instructions and decent enough quality tools to complete the job.
Looks like a recent commuter optipn, if a bit over geared.
Been looking for a good calibre bike for a while, but now its oos
I know !! Anyone actually get one?
Idk how but these tents have all soldout. I was really hoping to get one
Looks like my go outdoors order is going to be refunded. I think OEX are running out of tents XD
Received mine recently.... But I can see their having difficulty shipping stuff
No experience with this make, so could not comment. I don't have a lot of experience with tents in that price bracket. Like I said previously, (not sure if in this thread or another), but the HH is irrelevant if the build quality is not there. What's the worst that can happen, is its £30 wasted but might still be functional as a decent tent for the kids in the garden. As opposed too spending £200 on a tent that you hardly use. So the £30 gamble is probably worth it. Might be worth while checking argos etc. Might be easier to return if need be.
Yep.Just a cheapie, half decent type to keep handy in case needed. https://www.trailoutdoorleisure.co.uk/cheap-2-man-tent-with-porch-for-sale.html Was looking at this with 3000mm HH Seems OK for the money and then they have the sleeping bags at £14.99
Nice one. Are you looking for a small 2 man, for backpacking etc?
Hi again Deedie. Just to let you know that I bought the Coleman tent and have used it twice already as a test run and it is so quick and easy to put up and the blackout is fantastic. Very warm and I have even hosed it down to test for leaks and nothing. So all in all I would say a good buy. Now I am looking for adecent wee 2 man tent with a HH of about 3000mm. Any you mey know of would be very helpful. Thanks again.
Thanks for the pointers Deedie. Much appreciated. Happy camping and stay safe to you and all your family. (highfive)
Single speed sprockets tend to be made of steel and no aluminium, the 1/8th chain size also means the contact surfaces are a lot bigger. I've found from experience they last quite a lot longer than cassette sprockets. Anyway, I came here to say you can get a critical Cycles frame here for the same price. Critical Cycles Harper Single-speed Fixed Gear Urban Commuter Bike https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0184H660S/ref=cm_sw_r_wa_apa_i_6YWMEb8NA8SB6 Review here: https://www.bikeride.com/critical-cycles-harper/
Single speed bikes are a good means of exercising your legs. They develop core strength, torque and power put through the whole body. But I wouldn't recommend one for a novice rider or someone not particularly fit. It's hard work on any moderately steep incline. And I would say for commuting it is likely to be too taxing unless your commute is pan flat. As for the maintenance aspect. Yes, single speed will be easier to keep running a d cheaper to do so. But this isn't really a reason to base your purchase on.
I think the decathlon one does support a set of their own mudguards. At least it states so in the website. I just bought the bike, but will probably get this set of quickly attachable/detachable mudguards for it instead. https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B005J528IS/ref=cm_sw_r_other_apa_i_yl2LEbWMVFKDH
Does anyone know if these pedals will work with Primark trainers, as the strap has broken on one of my flip flops?
That's my fault. I posted the deal on the Flat Earth Society forum.
