Anyone know how good this is

I bought this 2 days ago to remove some weird fluffy ceiling thing on a room from years ago some middle eastern decorating thing and this got it off really well, also used it in a small room to get some flakey paint off and again really good, longer handle makes it easier than stubby sized ones and you get 2 spare blades in the handle so 3 total. Definitely worth £4.

My nana used to feed her entire family's for £1 when my parents were kids... Used to means very little when we live in the now

Arrived today. Absolute junk quality. Screws self tapped into drilled unthreaded holes and wont grip the blade. The blade was already rusty. Returned for refund.

Really, I used it for around 4 hours pretty hard going scraping, screws not loose at all and my blade was brand new shiny sharp... Plus there is two spare in the handle... Really unusual maybe you had a bad one or I had a good one? Or maybe it's expectations that are different

It served me well when I needed to clean up a concrete garage floor before painting it (dollops of skim/vinyl floor adhesive/gloss paint spots) YMMV depending on intended purpose

Got one of these the other day. Just takes chunks out of the wall, along with the paper. Not much control compared to a longer head scraper
