Good price on this great Czech lager!

These kegs often get mixed reviews but I find them good and pour an excellent pint if you let them settle.

    Small 330s in Asda are 12 for a tenner so almost 4 litres ,so unless you want that size, it works out a fair bit cheaper in the little cans, £2.50/litre lovely beer exactly the same as the Czech original unlike most imported Spanish brews (edited)

    Got one of these at Xmas and it was dreadful, got about half a pint of half decent lager and then a lot of froth

    That's because you have to chill it quite low and let it rest for a couple days.

    Love budvar but would never buy it in a keg again. Even tried it with a friends super duper chilling machine / hand pump but even after 24 hours chilling it was all froth and no beer. Buy the bottles!

    £3.50/lt in 500ml bottles at Tesco (compared with £3.40 in this..)...not sure why I would buy this...if I drank Bud at all....

    Budvar is so different to Budweiser, however the reason you buy it like this is Draught, whacking it in one of those little dispencers and hooking up a CO2 cannister to it.

    Used to love these after at least 2 days chilling in the fridge but the last 2 have been as above, pretty terrible almost all of it was flat and I am used to these kegs so it's not me it's the kegs! I won't be buying them again

    Found these the same. Quite flattish, and go even flatter very quickly.
