This is peated Bunnahabhain which is a rarity and this expression was discontinued a few years ago. It seems Amazon has the last stock of this and this is the lowest it has been for a while.Non-chill filtered and natural colour. Other retailers have stock at over £50!

Good price. I ordered this last time it was on offer and didn't like it. I do like the Bunnahabhain 12, but this tasted medicinal, more like Laphroaig 10 from memory.

The 12 is very lightly peated, if at all. This is quite different.

Excellent find voted hot. Had a £15 credit (store photos on Amazon offer) so got this for £16.60 lol bloody rude not to at that price.

Putting on the bulletproof jacket for this one lol. Not my favourite Bunna however, at a friend's one night and he made me a hot chocolate (more like an expresso but with drinking chocolate) and then added a good slog of this Moine. Absolutely blew my mind, the strong cocoa and the smoke/peat complement each other amazingly well. Had 4 and went to bed extremely happy

I like a smoky Whisky and ordered this a while ago based on the comments here, but I really don't think I'm a fan. There is something almost artifical about it. Really surprised it gets as many positive reviews. (edited)

Often the case with no age whiskys. I love genuine peated/smokey drams but when it tastes artificial, it's vile.

If anyone is wondering what the difference between Moine and Toiteach a Dhà is - the latter uses a mixe of peated and unpeated whiskies. (edited)

    All over it

I take it this is the normal price? (edited)

Its not made anymore so used to be closer to £40. Regal Whiskies have it for £70.

Just not impressed with the official range peated Bunna’s.
Do like the Indy Staoisha ( Bunna) particularly the Signatory bottles

Thanks for posting, I'm a huge girly fan of Bunna, there isn't one I don't like!

How does this compare with JW?

It's much better than Johnnie Walker in my opinion

Any fans of Laphroaig etc like this as I can see lightly peated fans don't? Thanks (edited)

I have a theory. This is Amazons Tovess Islay malt. I found Tovess very medicinal and a bit poor. Others have said the same of the Bunnahabhain. Any thoughts?
