❄ Last time I went to my local ATS they took over 2 hours 30mins to fit 2 front tyres, and that's despite me having a fitting time booked. Never again. (edited)

I can beat that they took 8 hours, to do 4 tyres, was booekd in for weeks but they forgot to order the tyres.. they offered no solution as they removed the wheels and tyres before realising they had none to put back on so car was stuck on the ramps.

My ATS are great. You can also pay using money supermarket vouchers, get topcashback etc. They don't use crappy air guns to put your wheels back on either - result!

I think using ats was the first time I've seen a garage use a torque wrench in many years. They really did seem to look after the car and give you a free check over without any attempt to charge you more

I ordered and paid for two Michelin tyres in January at my local ATS and booked in for them to be fitted a couple of days later before my MOT was due.

They then rang to say they wouldn’t have the tyres for three weeks (despite the website I booked them on saying otherwise), they then tried to sell me something completely different, I declined and it took 5 days to get a refund.

So be aware of this, I reported it as a complaint to their customer service website and had no reply.

I as a consequence will never consider ATS again, had I not had another £270 ish to buy another two tyres elsewhere I would probably have had to have gone with what they said they had in stock, I like to research anything I buy.

Just did a quick comparison and their prices don't seem that bad. £1 more fitted than Black Circle.

not sure if this helps you mate. Works out about £133 per tyre for Pilot Sport 4s for my 245/40/R18 tyres :/ not that great as I have no interest in blink doorbell (edited)

They've got crazy good deal on Pilot Sport 4S, can't find it cheaper anywhere else.

Yeah and they’re probably out of stock. Pulls you in takes your money and then leaves the garage to tell you there’s no stock in the uk and the refund procedure is long and painful.

Bare in mind money is taken without the online shop knowing stock levels and money is taken straight away. I learnt the hard way and won’t spend another penny at ATS. I waited weeks for a refund I mean weeks. I was told it was done/comepleted. Online customer service don’t do refunds. It has to be the store. They tell you it has to go to the area manager and so on so forth. The area manager told me after I raised a complaint. Head office don’t care once the have your money. They’ll delay it for as long as possible and then maybe your tyres would be in.

I got lucky then, maybe because I went to the complaint way within minutes of the phone call they knew I’d be a pain in the ass.

I used ATS for the 1st time this year and they were really great I had to wait a few days as the tyres took longer to arrive but i think its the same with a lot of things at the moment availability of products seems horrendous , anyway they kept me informed and fit me in at my convenience when they arrived I would absolutely use them again.
