Checked the ASDA website, it says 'in-store only, selected stores, 7-10 March'.
    blahblahblah1234's avatar
Yep, larger stores only, and 1 pallet per store.

Managed to pick up a dozen eggs for £7.20, bargain. They're limited to 6 per customer but we split them between 2 of us to buy 12.
The best deal is on the Maltesers eggs 127g for 60p, which is only 47p per 100g of chocolate - probably the cheapest I've seen branded chocolate anywhere for about a decade!

Saved a bit of money on buying eggs for all the relatives, thanks for the tip off @reindeer333.

yep Maltesers 127g best value (90g hollow egg and a small 37g pack), btw nowadays in most places the 37g pack costs more than 60p alone!

My rule of thumb for regular choc is £1/100g

So 97g for 60p (especially given its a Easter Egg which typically commands a inflated cost) is a DEAL!

    Heat 🔥

I subscribe to exactly your philosophical view of the price per unit of chocolate.
  4. TN567's avatar
Damn, thought lurpak were doing an egg!
    FootyFan99's avatar
It had butter be good chocolate

Happy Easter, kids. Don't eat all your Lurpak at once.
  6. TMKKMT's avatar
At Spondon Derby 8.30am and the handheld self scanners were allowing 6 of each egg, plus 3 "normal" Lurpak and 3 "lighter" ones as they have different barcodes.
In case not already said above, the KitKat and Maltesers eggs are much better value than the Mini eggs or Milky Bar ones.
Also, if you aren't planning on getting all the egg allocation for the family, why not chuck a couple extra in for the charity trolleys/food banks? (edited)
    Flea72's avatar
Says 3 max per customer at my local store
  7. slipthru25's avatar
Seems all the small eggs are on offer. The Maltesers is the best bargin. (edited)
    FootyFan99's avatar
Now you're talking. On my way

Easter eggs at 60p!, crazy price

Is there a limit to how many you can buy?, assume there probably is. (edited)
    Cryptichello987's avatar
    3
  9. minifig290's avatar
Plenty at Worcester, 3 per customer per egg. All varieties reduced, Kitkat, smarties, cadbury etc
    Brando1's avatar
So you can get 3 of each at once?
  10. marteee's avatar
Managed to get some eggs today, checked two nearby stores for the Lurpak and no dice, havent had any more since the initial delivery yesterday apparently
    gummby's avatar
Don't spend all the savings on fuel! Not worth it. It would cost me £3.20 in fuel just to go to Asda. (edited)
  11. siliconsid's avatar
No signs of 6 limit. The two of us purchased 8 in total and we got stopped on the way out! We were given a warning and let go.
    minifig290's avatar
    Next step a detention

They're behind you, in your trolley!

Bought 6 at my local Asda. Ate them in the car. Went back in a different jacket. Bought 6 more.
    dmuggy1's avatar
    A bigger jacket?

Great price but these 'in store only' offers are deeply frustrating for those who pay for the delivery pass. We pay extra and get excluded.

Note some of those that use the delivery pass do so because of accessibility/mobility so I don't think this new policy is particularly fair
    blahblahblah1234's avatar
The same argument in reverse for some "online only" offers you see from time to time.
It's good to see stores mixing things up in an attempt to get more business.
Also, people would go crazy ordering 6x each type of egg online. Be a nightmare for the order pickers and the delivery drivers. Makes sense tbh.

A mega event at our local Asda occurs when they restock the shelves. I don't know how any supermarket can function like this one seems to - the number of occasions we come away with half of our shopping list unaccounted for is ridiculous.
    meridiusuk's avatar
Same with our Asda I keep asking the staff if this shop is supposed to sell food as sometimes I don’t know what shop I am In. lol. Asda is the worst supermarket I have ever shopped at in the last 3 to 4 years. I have used them for 20 or more years and the last few I am surprised the shop has not shut because of their poor restocking (edited)

    Got some Lurpak
dates weren't very good (April) so have froze two
Girl at till asked if i wanted more, so presume they have a shed load of them?
Oh 10% on your reward card too if you have a BLC
  18. pr.'s avatar
Just brought a load of eggs for £1.25 for charity, wish I went to asda like planned now. Oh well
  19. mamoffour's avatar
    Good for lurpak
  20. Beanie1979's avatar
Has anyone managed to get these eggs. Reckon shelves will be empty
    moyhelenmoy's avatar
I got 6 this morning as it’s 6 per customer. 3 per customer on the lurpak
  21. katw's avatar
Only brought 10 last night as not many left
    thatscheap's avatar
    Bring it on
  22. camaj's avatar
Good to see ASDA don't make you have a reward card to get special offers
    blahblahblah1234's avatar
Ah but they do, just not for this offer.
You've not heard of their Rewards app, and Asda Cashpot Rewards?
  23. sikiliza69's avatar
Aldi's Nordpak's price is just slightly below Lurpak's if closer to some (£0.42 vs £0.47 per 100g)
  24. musicman's avatar
    Good prices.
Shame it’s Lurpak ‘Speadable’ not a patch on proper butter.
  25. Idntkno's avatar
Sign reads: "6 products per customer." Self-checkout confirmed the limit as 6 per egg/flavour.

Fantastic price. I ate 7 since the Morrisons offer😜 so I have replaced them. Thanks op,much appreciated . (edited)
  26. Marzipan22's avatar
Everyone raving about the eggs when all I want is Lurpak
    monkeyb0y's avatar
aldi nordpak isnt far off for a fraction of the price (edited)
  27. dparv's avatar
Got my eggs tonight, ate one already!
  28. Gez2u's avatar
Got some from Asda Eastleigh Supercentre earlier today - a riot nearly broke out when they wheeled a trolley full of the 60p eggs to the entrance of the store & 2 guys who started to unpack it were wrestled to the ground as a swarm of crazed customers ran towards them................
    Moss.b's avatar
Damn. In our local it just sits at the front. Idk what goes on in the evening though, that's when crazy shoppers come.
  29. nik1's avatar
Humdinger of an egg drop 🔥
  30. Reena7's avatar
Is this offer on at Asda garages?
    Alex_H's avatar
Someone said 'larger stores only, and 1 pallet per store'
  31. Loveabargain99's avatar
    Bargain
  32. boroughchamp's avatar
Limited to 6 maximum on eggs. Not sure on the Lurpak and Ben & Jerries
    Mightyjinjo's avatar

  35. FrostyGlovez's avatar
Got to be about 78p per 100g, amazing deal.
  36. katw's avatar
Is it 3 eggs in all , or three of each flavour, eg 3 mini eggs, 3 buttons, 3 Kit Kat
  37. Brando1's avatar
They only allowed maximum 6 in my store for each customer
    Nkb01's avatar
I bought 7 via self checkout and it was fine
  38. BargainHunter1501's avatar
It’s 3 per type not 6 as the sign says, got caught at check out.
    escorttwincam's avatar
No i got 6 of each type earlier-12 total.
  39. aturner123's avatar
Wow not shocked at all. Like Covid times. People with several tubs of lurpak piled in their trolleys.
  40. RayParkerJnr's avatar
Got 4 eggs on scan and go. Wasn’t questioned. Saw some staff were taking orders for their colleagues and filling a trolley with these and the lurpak
