In an ideal world, a Alloy frame bike with 2x10 speed Shimano would be around £1000
(but we are where we are with bike prices, and everything being 'inflated' at the moment).
I don't have any personal experience on the components... but the Topstone Alu is well considered as is Shimano GRX Hydraulic!
Slap on some slick 30/32cc tyres if you're mainly on the road and only occasionally on the rough stuff (I ride towpaths + light gravel on 28cc road tyres without too much problem!) and it looks like a great versatile bike with some upgrade potential
Hydraulic brakes is a big bonus.
...but what happened to Cannondale and their branding? it doesn't impact the bike on offer but it looks to me they lost their marbles, bring back the previous logos, colours and design. Current approach some how cheapens a brand, which should be offering top end aluminium bikes.
I suppose it's not a bad price. I know it's less gears overall, but at this price I would prefer 1x11 giving more upgrade options.

I completely agree.. I have a caad13 which has a lovely colourway and looks classy.. but since then the caadx and other models just look bland, they should make them stand out a bit more! Alloy bikes can be just as good as carbon and so should get the same love!
