A very timely deal! Great light with decent reviews,

Just a note for anyone price checking, this one with the HELMET mount is more expensive than the bar mounted version

Do you have a light mounted on your bike helmet? Suppose it's a good idea if you're on country lanes etc with bad roads?

For mountain biking it’s pretty essential. Your bike’s front light isn’t always pointing where you want to go then looking ‘through’ a corner for obstacles etc

Anyone have any experience with this model? I have an aero bike with aero bars and finding a light that comes with an aero mount is a nightmare. Currently using an Exposure light that uses a clip in mount with a rubber band that I can just about get round the aero bars. But it isn’t bright enough in pitch dark on country roads for me to really see where I am going. So I’m looking at helmet mount lights as an extra option… but I could do with knowing how well this lights up the road ahead? Thanks!

Significantly, I have both the 800 and the 500 and generally use the 500 on the helmet for wooded trails and towpaths. The handlebar mount is excellent too, doesn't move without being too bulky.

Most of these lights are way over priced. The components would cost less than £10. I just bought Chinese 1600lumin light for £12 and its blinding and the battery lasts for several hours
