Got one of these year ago..
Used Amazon fire toolbox to take most of the Amazon crap of it... Link...xda-developers.com/ama…ts/

Used a skin and SD card...
Works a treat... Battery lasts a while and had no issues. I don't play games, mostly for YouTube, web e.c.t.....

    Works for me...

Agreed, especially if a child is going to use it. Remove all the bloat/crap.

32Gb is not great nowadays. I’d pay the extra £21 for the 64Gb one.

Why? You can put a 256GB card in it for less than £15. There was an Amazon one for £10ish a few days ago. 512GB cards for less than £30. (edited)

Does anyone know if this is good for playing Roblox on? Or will it be glitchy?

It won't be very good at all. See youtube videos to confirm.

Had a couple of fire tablets, both went really sluggish after a short amount of time, and the battery life went from great to bad fast also.

    Is this common? (edited)

My Fire tablet, a 3GB, 8 inch one is very sluggish. I only use it for playing videos, audio books etc. It randomly disconnects from the WiFi. I couldn't use it as a tablet like I used my old Xiaomi Mi Pad.

These can't be beaten as a TV screen full stop at this price. Had Sky Sports News on (more on than off) yesterday from 12pm to 11pm and the battery held up. (edited)

Fire HD 10 tablets are excellent for children aged 5-10 in my experience, having had two children use them at this age.

All casual games play fine. YouTube, Disney+ etc. are fine too. Minecraft plays well. Roblox is OK but compared to say the iPad Air that my 10yo now has it’s not so good. All-in-all for £80 I don’t think you can do much better IMO.
