Don't get the love for this. It was okay in the end, but the first episode was full of awful acting IMO.
With the terrible Mary Sue character that always seemed to have the right answers and in the right place, if only those stuffy old men would get out of the way. Character was, surprisingly, entirely made up.
£5.99...not great, not terrible
If you know, you know!- One of a few series I could rewatch and never get bored. Some of the greatest TV ever made! 👌

Watched it 6 or 7 times and still love it... Sensational watch...
Enjoyable, but needlessly dramatised (i.e. helicopter crash) as if the true story wasn't tragic enoughthat did happen so..... just not at the time it happened in the show

A must buy- Quite an eye opener, well worth a watch but quite uncomfortable truth.
I was at Pripyat when they were filming this. Missed out on getting to see the swimming pool. Blimmin' Jared Harris. 🤷♀️
It is a brilliant series though!
There's lots of urbex sites and YouTube videos from various points in the past (presumably before the illegal invasion) if you want another look.
Great series. Can be slow but if you like that kind of pacing, this is brilliant.
