These watches have set on a shelf a very long time without getting charged and this model has been discontinued. The first one I bought on the last deal was dead on arrival and wouldn't take charge. Had to drive 50miles to get an exchange which was also dead but started working after a week in the sun (leave the crown pulled out). The watch is very different to a conventional ecodrive due to the perpetual calendar as you cannot set the time with low battery. Wears very large. This is it side to side with. W800 Casio (leather strap changed for a cheap Nato strap).52393230-MAwMk.jpg

Hi John, same experience today for myself. It was obvious when I picked the box up today that it was old , and perhaps previously opened/used.
Watch was inactive after 3 hours full sunshine could not be adjusted.I returned it immediately for a refund. Felt like a 2nd hand eBay item.
    Don't waste your money/time
    Cheers.

As a watch enthusiast, it pains me everytime when I see someone refer to a watch with calendar subdials as a chronograph.
