Edinburgh is just not competitive and yet has queues around the car park for fuel. It's literally 3p cheaper than Tesco and you waste that sitting the queues. People are crazy.

I've never really waited in a queue at Edinburgh other than when they're refilling the tanks, when that happened we just went in the shop for a hot dog and it was clear by the time we were back.

Other than the odd rush hour and lunch time it's generally not bad.

Or use the Petrolprices app and find the prices of those locally, especially if you are only putting in up to £20.
Sometimes the travel negates the saving, especially if you are tempted to go in the store.

Oldham always has long queues but it's not that much cheaper.
Most say that it's the quality of diesel which is more like premium?

My local Tesco and Asda both have petrol at 138.7 so don’t really see the deal here

Unrelated to the deal, has anyone else experienced that the pump flow is so high that you can't fill up the tank in full (diesel)?
I know there is a button on the pump to switch between car and van, but I don't press it.
The trigger on the noozle seems to engage a lot like the tank is already full.
Do I have to do something to reset the flow to normal, if you know? Thanks (edited)
