Worth pointing out this is the 6GB version of the RTX 3050, so you get a 96-bit memory bus (not 128-bit, eg 3/4 memory bandwidth) but the core count of the 3050 Ti, if you are buying a 3050 at all, this is still the best imo, the 6GB is a huge bonus over the 4GB even if memory runs slower.
i5-13450HX is a powerhouse despite being the i5.

Worth stretching to this if you can, £90 more but twice the RAM, faster CPU, vastly faster GPU and high TDP, top-tier display and better build quality all round, extended warranty: hotukdeals.com/dea…546
What about the £600 Costco one?
This is not a gaming laptop, this is almost gaming laptop. Way overpriced for what you get

Can you elaborate?
This isnt a bad deal - Mrs has a previous version G15 with a 3050ti and 12 gen cpu & its been rock solid so far. No thermal issues / no performance issues as a result & it appears to be quite sturdy (its even had rum spilt over it).
Bought an 8gb ram stick from CEX for about £30 to bump it to 16gb. Well woth the cost.
I have this laptop, paid £380 from Amazon warehouse. It plays all the games I tried perfectly fine and is one of the quieter gaming laptops I’ve used. Not sure id recommend it for this price as you can get better gaming laptops for similar cost. (I’ve seen refurb 4060 laptops for this price)
Bargain at £380, I guess that was during one of their Warehouse Events with the additional stacked discount?
8gb ram is good? Thnx op

Depends on your requirements, can easily be upgraded to 16gb if required

Rarely anything worth looking at on there, have got some decent deals many years ago, but not recently
Last year I bought a Ideapad 3: i5 rtx3050ti 1080p IPS 350nits 16gb ram 500gb ssd = £525
Its been great so far despite me dropping it multiple times
