A powerful cooling solution in a small space!
Pinguino Compact is a small and effective portable air conditioner designed to take up less space.
The PAC ES72 has 3 fan speeds, so you can get maximum airflow or enjoy a cooling breeze. ES72 features an LCD display with touch controls and a handy remote control. We recommend the Pinguino ES72 for anyone looking to cool small and average-sized, sitting rooms, bedrooms, small offices and conservatories. This unit has handles and castors for easy transportation from room to room, so you can both cool and dehumidify the air in any space.

Powerful & energy efficient
With its 8,300 BTU/h / 2,100-Watt power output, it will quickly transform your hot, humid room into a relaxing oasis. Although incredibly powerful, this unit has an A energy efficiency label, so it’s also kind on your wallet.

Quieter cooling
The low noise levels of the PAC ES72 will help make those uncomfortable nights a thing of the past. Thanks to the handy timer, you can set it to come on at any time and use the remote to control your comfort from the sofa or under your duvet. Pinguino Compact has a 50% noise reduction from max to min speed*.

700x more eco friendly
Pinguino uses natural, non-toxic refrigerant gas R290, which is up to 696 times more environmentally friendly than traditional gases.

Year-round use
ES72 can also be used in dehumidify-only mode, capable of removing up to 21 litres of water in one day, ideal for protecting your home or office against excessive moisture. It's also a great way to dry your clothes in the cooler months.

Thanks OP...owners seem generally satisfied from reviews & it's not as pug-ugly as most portable A/C's either.

Single hose, only 8300BTU. Wouldn't touch it, to be honest. Seems pricey for the performance.
I have a single hose unit from Electriq, 9000btu, and it isn't powerful enough - sure it helps imensely, but it's not enough on summer days.
Since getting mine I have learnt that a dual hose is much better, too.

I'd suggest people should try for at least 10k BTU, and ideally 12k.
