sorted byJust a warning, there's a lot of weight at extension on these. The electric motor is next to the cutter. They're lighter altogether than a petrol one, but those are well balanced.
After about 3 minutes you'll wish you never skipped shoulder day. 10 minutes in and your arms will feel like they're detaching. The next 20 minutes is a lactic nightmare. You'll change from side to side to side to side and nothing makes it better. Then you stop because you have to. Your arms are useless for the next hour. It's a serious workout. The next day you'll feel like you're Eddie Hall.
No regrets —it's far better than looking after a small engine— but I wish these were indirect with a transmission shaft like traditional ones. They'd be much easier to use. (edited)
