How do these compare to Birdseye Chicken Dippers as they are also chicken breast in batter but considerably cheaper atm in Tesco?
    Justintime12's avatar
These are made from chicken fillet. Birds eye are just bits of breast offcuts pressed together. Birds eye are awful

Anyone know where to get that red sweet and sour sauce that they sell in the takeaways with the chicken balls? Other than buying it from the takeaway!

Have you got a large Chinese supermarket near you? That would be your best bet. We have a Wing Yip where most Chinese takeaways get their stuff from.

These are just like buying them from Chinese takeway,12 mins in air fryer ,really nice and 100 percent chicken breast.(even though it says chicken BALLS)..

Just 58% chicken and you'd have to eat a third of a pack to get just 13.6g protein. I'm out.

    Bye..i love them 100%

I wonder what the animal welfare standards are like in China, where they are produced and packaged

    EU/UK imports chicken from China...

    Whhhyyy?
    Justintime12's avatar
Lower / zero animal welfare so much cheaper

A lot of chicken comes from Thailand too but they do have higher animal welfare standards

These are honestly amazing, just like getting them from a takeaway, air fry them for best results

Was so confused when I saw it's sources in China AND it's halal. But the reviews on this sold me

I'll let you know how good it tastes tomorrow

EU and UK approved factories seems like a low bar but who can say?

I agree very much with the other posts saying how good these are. Enjoy these every bit as much as the ones we've ordered previously from the take away! The other products they do are also very nice and worth checking out if on the same offer. (edited)

never heard of these. any different to chicken nuggets?

Thanks op! I added 2 to my shopping yesterday, one for hubby & I and the second bag for my parents.

Extremely good, legit. Air fried they're 95% of the way to takeway. I would eyeball one packet as roughly the same quantity as an order at a (relatively generous) chinese takeway, so for 2.50 that's incredible tbh.
