Good price, cheap direct flights! Noticed prices for December have dropped slightly from Luton, was previously around £55 for the base fare. Hand Luggage fare rules apply. Other dates are around similar prices

Reykjavik, on the coast of Iceland, is the country's capital and largest city. It's home to the National and Saga museums, tracing Iceland’s Viking history. The striking concrete Hallgrimskirkja church and rotating Perlan glass dome offer sweeping views of the sea and nearby hills. Exemplifying the island’s volcanic activity is the geothermal Blue Lagoon spa, near the village of Grindavik. ― Google

Just noticed that it's £1 more to book direct with the airline, so if you're planning on booking this, do that.

Top tip. Be like a local and stack up with duty free booze on your way out of the airport.

I've recently booked similar flights out of Bristol with easyjet in November. Didn't even know I wanted to go to Iceland lol but all research since says its a stunning place to visit so can't wait

Be even more amazing if the volcano is still erupting. Search for Iceland volcano on instagram. Absolutely stunning.

I will never fly Wizzair ever again, even if they pay me. Worst ever experience and awful customer service. Can't believe an European airline can just get away behaving like they do.

Seconded. I've moaned here before about their abysmal service; anyone booking with Wizz Air just know this: it's a complete lottery whether your booked flights will actually happen, right up to the day of your departure, and even if they say they're happening you can still expect a long & boring wait at the gate as their seemingly non-existent workforce neglect their duties & feed you lie after lie about your mystery flight.

7 nights I'd have to sell my car to fund that!

You could get a full time job whilst out there?

Or bank robbery. It is expensive by all accounts.

It's cheap for a reason.....it's dark for most of the day and most likely to be covered in thick cloud.

Disagree about the thick cloud. If you want to see the northern lights, then ideal!

Does this need a Schengen visa for us mere mortals?

    Yup

I d rather go in November for £57-return from Easyjet which s far better than Wizzair and longer day than in Dec.

Best time to go is Sept and even then check 2 weeks forecast for the Northern lights and both 2 weeks before you go
