Packed with detail

You can get some truly cinematic shots with the DJI Mavic Air 2 Drone. Whether you're capturing peaceful shores or BMX tricks, your aerial shots are effortlessly smooth thanks to 4K video at 60 fps.

You'll love the balance HDR brings to your shots. By layering images, a greater range of colours are captured, so you'll see the detail in the terrain along with vibrant blue skies.

And when you want more detail, you can zoom in without losing any quality when capturing 48-megapixel photos.

Video made easy

Create like the professionals do thanks to FocusTrack. Simply pick your subject and the Mavic Air 2 will follow, keeping them in the frame.

And for stunning timelapse videos, there's 8K Hyperlapse. Simply choose from different modes, select the location and the DJI Fly app will create it for you – no post-processing required.

    Is Whits Warehouse any good?

I feel a bit suspicious about the site. Company registered in June this year. Registered address is a flat in Peckham. Director is a 23yo. Great price if it's real but a no from me.

Here's some footage from the Mavic Air 2, 4K UHD, pretty much a week after I got it. It flies itself, just don't be stupid with it.

With new drone laws coming soon, I'd hold off purchasing one of these as they will become legacy drones

I'd love one but waste of time buying one with these new laws coming in.

Genuinely curious, what is it about the new laws that made you sell? I've got the mini and although it didn't need registering by itself, because I attach add-ons, I had to register it as they take it over the 250g threshold. The registration is £9 per year which seems reasonable. People are also required to pass a theory test which is good because there are already too many nutters out there with no idea how to fly it safely in the vicinity of others so I'm all for these laws.

What are the new drone laws? Link? Tried Google can't find much

Pretty much the same as now but instead of 50m from people it will be 150m which will start dec 2020 but there will be another 2 years after that for the trans period meaning for it to take effect which trust me by that time you would have moved on to the newer models so nothing to worry about (edited)

A complete scam website DO NOT USE .
Takes your money and you don’t hear from them again. Using 4 addresses which are all houses.
A disgrace they are getting away with it. Have reported and also gone back to bank for chargeback .

The laws will affect anyone who has a Mavic Air 2 as it isn't CE marked and will not be categorised properly. The drone will become almost useless unless you like standing in the middle of empty fields.

And congrats on breaking law #1 of drone flight: Keeping visual line of sight at all times.

After December 2020 you can get fined for flying anywhere but an open field (150m away from people) unless you get an pfco license. Any drones without the certification (i.e. drones made before december 2020 that do not have the required certification) will be known as legacy drones.

That's not a hyperlapse, turns out the video was 4K 30fps... I thought it was 120fps as that's what I wanted but nope. The rest of the footage was just boring sheet lightning so I was really happy with that strike I caught.

Maybe they were set up purely to pricematch for the Mavic Air 2??

At NO point did anyone here suggest you buy from Whitswatehouse (edited)

At the moment you can fly within 50m of people and property as long as its not a congested area (then its 150m). Under the new laws non certified drones will be restricted to 150m of anyone. New rules come in Dec 2020 then a 2yr transition period before the new rules fully apply. I was gonna get a DJI after my cheap 2nd hand drone broke but now replaced that rather than a big outlay on a soon to be legacy drone that you also can't fly in USA due to no Airsense in non-US versions.

I bet there's people out there who even use the Mini and sell their edits. That in the eyes of the law makes them a 'pro' and thus they must be properly registered, licenced and insured.

And then there's the new laws which actually start making things easier in some aspects for people who wish to use a drone professionally, but the Mavic range of drones aren't categorised properly as soon as that CE mark becomes a requirement, so it's a step forwards and then two backwards.

For the price it's really not that bad, especially since you won't be flying it between obstacles, as long as you have a clear view of the drone and unobstructed connection, it is fine.
