I've never flown before but I am considering Dublin since flights are cheap and I have a reason.

Flights are about an hour long from my Manchester airport but from what I read you should get there 3 hours early... is this the general rule? Because that seems silly to me, can any of you let me know how you go about it?

I obviously wouldn't want to miss a flight even if it's dirt cheap but I wouldn't know what to do for 3 hours. Sorry I'm clueless with how airports work lol (edited)

With no luggage to check in, 1 hour before flight time is plenty. Ryanair only start boarding at the "gate closes" time on their boarding passes - it is a bit of a stroll to the ryanair gates in Dublin so if mobility issues, ignore me. Pre covid, I'd regularly only be there 30-40mins before flights which were every 2-3 weeks once upon a time

Again, just the other Ryanair deals posted these is a standard Ryanair fare for Dublin. Is HUKD becoming a sponsor for ryanair with all these borderline spam posts?

No, it is not. I visit my brother in Dublin, and on occasions, I come across this price, but not on a regular basis.

all depends if you know where to go, Dublin can be as cheap or expensive as you want, it's the same in all city's even in engerland

The flight arrives at 00:15am and the return leaves at 6.10am (Be at airport for 4am) to get this price, the standard pricing is about £35 which has reasonable times.

The flight times are the reason its £5 cheaper than usual, wouldn't bother to save such a small amount !

I agree the flight times are stupid, and that's why it is cheap. But it is not £5 only cheaper than when using flights at better times. If we use the days on this deal, the cheapest seems to be £85 and the departure flight tine is still not great. I think people who have children can't compromise and pay extra for better times, as it will cost them a lot. In this case, for 4, it is about £140. Leaving at different times means nearly £300. That's a big difference. When I'm on my own, I'd rather pay more for convenience. But for 4 of us, we often rather pay to stay the night before at a hotel near the airport. Last year, we paid £26 for a family of 4 in a Travelodge 20 min away from Birmingham Airport. Worked out cheaper than buying tickets at the 'normal' times. (edited)

I remember the time when I paid £25 for the train to Manchester Airport and £6 for Ruan Air return trip to Dublin...This was not even that long ago. Good price BTW. (edited)
